David Christopher Jamison, 72, of Rocky Mount, went to be with his Lord and Savior on August 8, 2012. He was born in Callaway on September 19, 1939, to Samuel Orbern Jamison and Luella Prillaman Jamison. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings. David was married on April 26, 1968, in Axton, to Anne Elizabeth Winn who survives him. He is also survived by a very special daughter, Lynanne Jamison Yndestad and her husband Jason; his nieces, nephews, cousins, Anne's family, his church family and many wonderful friends. He was a 1957 graduate of Franklin County High School and later served in the Army. He retired from DuPont with 29 years of service. He has been a member of Piedmont Presbyterian Church since childhood and has served in many various ways. David was a faithful fan of the Franklin County Lady Eagles basketball teams and was awarded a letter this year for his support. Interment in Franklin Memorial Park.
